Gaussion is a magneto-electrochemistry company that produces bespoke magnetic systems, aiding the performance of electrochemical devices, such as batteries, by reducing their internal resistance during fast charging.
Gaussion has developed its MagLiB™ technology – a novel and cost-effective rapid charging solution that reduces resistances in Li-ion batteries, resulting in improved performance, longer lifespan, and rapid charging.
Project Highlights
- Our Technology Developer Accelerator Programme (TDAP) has helped Gaussion progress its route to market by helping the organisation develop its commercialisation strategy, business model, Intellectual Property (IP) strategy, and facilitate introductions to a wider network of industry partners and potential customers.
- Gaussion utilised theTechnology Validation Phase of TDAP to design and manufacture a scaled-up version of its demonstrator.
- Increased Technology Readiness Level from 3 to 6 during the programme.
