Plug-in Police Vehicles
The Ford Transit developed through this project is currently undergoing trials in London with 20 vehicles at a number of service operators, including the Metropolitan Police & British Gas. This has enabled Ford to leverage learnings from its product engineering team as well as city authorities. The project has brought critical skills to the UK, despite competition from other international Ford R&D Centres.
