ECOClassics, specialises in bespoke electric propulsion systems for the motorbike sector. Initially focused on classic car EV conversions, ECOClassics has expanded its offering by developing and supplying electric powertrains to various niche vehicle manufacturers, including motorcycle makers. They create integrated electric drive systems that seamlessly fit within existing vehicle frameworks, eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming redesigns.
Highlights
- ECOClassics began TDAP with a singular focus but emerged with two new brands. The programme facilitated the growth and diversification of the business, paving the way for the launch of Volt Drive, a brand focused on developing electric drive systems for the L category vehicle sector and last-mile delivery and a new EV components brand.
- By leveraging the mentorship provided by the TDAP team, ECOClassics developed a robust business strategy. Their new EV components brand achieved over £0.75 million in sales within its first 6 months. This success has played a critical role in funding the company’s broader business initiatives.
- Since finishing the programme, ECOClassics has been working on establishing a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the UK.
