Automotive Transformation Fund competitions now open

We’ve launched two Automotive Transformation Fund (ATF) competitions to help businesses progress projects towards industrialisation, by providing support to assess feasibility and help validate readiness for scale-up.

Scale up Readiness Validation 2 (SuRV2)  

Following the success of the first round of SuRV funding last year, this competition will provide further opportunity to validate readiness for scale-up of processes and pilot manufacturing in the UK automotive supply chain. Businesses registered in the UK can apply for a grant between £750,000 and £2 million, from a total funding amount of £11 million.

Feasibility Studies Competition 

Successful applicants will receive funding to produce decision-ready business cases for projects which will develop large-scale manufacturing facilities in the UK automotive industry. Businesses and consortiums registered in the UK can apply for a grant between £100,000 and £350,000, from a total funding amount of £2 million.
